Moss as central area operations vice president is PaulLorensen A 20-year Con-way veteran, Mr. Lorensen was a member of the start-upteam that launched Con-way Southwest Express in 1989, opening the company'sfirst service center in San Antonio, Texas. In 1992 he became assistantservice center manager in Dallas, later advancing to service center manager atFort Worth, Texas and Atlanta, Ga. He subsequently was promoted to regionmanager in Houston and later in Atlanta before moving to the general office asdirector of quality assurance. 
Prior to his current promotion, he was directorof solutions engineering for Con-way Freight in Ann Arbor Mr. Lorensen holdsa bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Fort Hays State University,Hays, Kansas."We are very pleased to have Paul Lorensen moving into this key operatingrole," said Greg Lehmkuhl, Con-way Freight's executive vice president,operations.
