Maya DorcilIn the eastern conference where not even half of the teams have a winning percentage, the 76ers are currently sitting at the bottom of the barrel respectively one and two spots ahead of the woeful knicks and nets.Unlike what “naughty Shaq” would say : on paper that’s not a good team. Looking at their roster though their record should definitely be better then what it actually is ( 5-15). Of course they had to deal with recent injuries but hey that’s part of the game and stillElton Brand I thought, should/would have by now made more of an impact on the team’s improvement. But it is what it is. Samuel Dalembert for one needs to raise up and sustain his productivity level specially rebounding-wise..From an outsider’s standpoint I feel that a vast majority of the 76ers players and by extension NBA players need what I would call a “career coach”. Maybe it’s actually part of the team’s head coach duties but their tasks must be so overwhelming. So maybe you could play that role Iverson. Starting with Sunday’s first practice (yes ma man we talkin bout practice), I would be the first player there and the last to leave. Needless to say I would also work my butt off leading by example while listening to my coach (es)I would from tomorrow onwards instill a real sense of camaraderie on the practice court, locker room, team bus/plane, etc. I would hangout both individually and collectively with my team mates and coaches speciallyIguodala and Jordan.See the way that you’ve always played the game (all-out, fearlessly and with passion), you need to find a way to instill that in your team mates.Everybody must know their role and through/after each practice/game be held accountable for their individual performances within the team concept. There’s no substitute for adequate preparation, execution of a game’s plan and an ever present solid defensive stand yet at the end of the day I will remind you if I have to that: this is still the city of brotherly love. It’s still relatively a young NBA season. Time to stop the 76ers’ bleeding and losses. Time to get some wins. It’s a second coming. Yes the prodigal son has returned home. I hope it works.Looking forward to the Denver, Memphis games and the rest of the season. Ball’s in your court and frankly, now would be the wrong time to double fault. Second serve : Iverson.Welcome back home brother.. DUBAI, United Arab Emirates(Business Wire)WWA Group, Inc.

Gross auction sales exceeded US$33.1 million and involved more than 365registered bidders from 23 countries. Equipment consigned by 115 consignors from16 countries, comprised of 1,463 items, was sold to 209 successful bidders. The December auction was WWA Groups last major auction in Dubai in 2008, andwas the largest ever in terms of gross auction sales. Gross auction sales were16 higher than the previous record auction held in Dubai in September 2007. "The recent downturn in project awards has caused an increase in the number ofbulk sales of good quality equipment," commented Eric Montandon, CEO of WWAGroup. "As a result we had very good buyer turnout, and the number of successfulbidders was as high as we have ever experienced.

Prices for most categories ofequipment were lower than they were six months ago, but demand for equipment isstill strong. What we are seeing is buyers looking to our auctions for marketpriced equipment as opposed to dealer financed equipment priced at levels thatare no longer attractive. We expect these trends to continue through 2009." Another year with the BCS, another year of controversy. The 2009 regular season has ended with anunbelievable five undefeated schools. Three are from major conferences, while the other two, Boise State and TCU, are not. There have been a plethora of articles written about why the two non AQ schools don't belong in the national championship game. Nearly every one that I have read cites the conference affiliation and the schedule that accompanies. Nobody will argue that teams like San Jose State and New Mexico are not bad and that the conference is as challenging as the Pac 10 or SEC. Those of us who look at the Broncos and Horned Frogs as being equal to Alabama, Cincinnati, and Texas understand that a great team can come from anywhere. BCS conference boosters seem to forget how every year many of their beloved teams go down in defeat to "lesser" teams. Oklahoma State early this year lost at home to Houston which belongs in the eighth best conference in the country. Up until last week the Cowboys were considered to be a team that could bump Boise State out of the BCS. The mighty Nebraska lost at home to Iowa State, Pittsburg lost to NC State, we could go on and on with instances where teams lost to inferior opponents. Here is the point. TCU and Boise State, like the great teams, just don't lose. They win every game that they are supposed to win. They win the games that are challenges. TCU went out and beat Clemson, BYU, and Utah. Then proceeded to not have any hiccups. Boise State beat a team in Oregon that turned out to be quite impressive, don't even try theargument that they weren't the same team. That's bush league! BSU also took care of business against a super hot Nevada team, and a challenging Fresno State team on the road. Again, another season where they went out an won every game on the schedule. Some people out there in BCS land believe that is very simple to do. They seem to conveniently forget all about the upsets that occur weekly in college football as if the little guys should be held to a higher standard. Looking at the facts, going undefeated in any season of Division 1 football is an anomaly. Usually no more than one or two finish that way. So when a Boise State or TCU finish unblemished, their season should be given respect. The manner in which both of these school have accomplished undefeated seasons is what lends to the credibility.

After a narrow win against Air Force mid season, TCU went on a dominating tear winning all of their games by double digits. For Boise State, it was a close call against Tulsa that got the critics going. They responded by scoring more than forty points in their final seven games. They have outscored opponents this season by 344 points. So go ahead, and rank the WAC and Mountain West lower than the BCS conferences. There is nothing unfair about that. Just don't be ignorant to the fact that outliers exist. Sometimes greatness is found where we don't expect it. The funny thing is this season it so easy to see.I have been repeatedly telling people that they should judge teams not by stat sheets or SOS comparisons, but by what they see on the field. When you take the time to do that you just may see what the minority of us have been witnessing all along. After seeing Texas' lucky escape against Nebraska, I know that some of you are letting the doubt creep into your mind. It's quite alright. Don't be afraid to ask yourself if that is the best the BCS conferences can do. Will Texas and their 19 yards rushing be able to avoid embarrassment against Alabama Or would you rather see the unknown TCU give their best shot Maybe the nation's most efficient passer in Kellen Moore would prove to be more of a challenge to the Tide than Florida was. Maybe...maybe not. The important thing is that we start to think less in about conference and more about team.. AUSTIN, Texas(Business Wire)Providence Resources, Inc., (OTCBB:PVRS) (Berlin Stock Exchange:HBZ1)("Providence") today announced that it has commenced drilling the Carson 10-1exploration well on its leases in Val Verde County, TX. The vertical well wasspud on January 2, 2009 and is expected to reach a target depth of 16,000 feetin approximately 45-60 days of drilling.
