Many of the major corporations know how to market their products on television. You either use a hot chick or chicks, or use famous sports personalities Do one of the two and your product usually sells. Quite a few years back Toyota tried to take the sports promotion a little further thou and it got their commercial banned from TV.From the video quality and the dates on some of the footage I’d say it was around the time that America’s Funniest Home Videos was popular Which would explain why they use the footage they did. Was it enough to get their commercial bannedI don’t think so, in all honesty it’s a pretty damn funny commercial.Something you’d expect on Super Bowl Sunday.Pretty funny stuff and again I have to say how did this get banned The powers that be were a little too uptight back then, today that would be on TV easily. After watching that thou I figured I’d throw out a few more blooper videos for your viewing pleasure. And one more. This article is also featured on My Sports Rumors.

The Yankees are starting to make their winter plans, and with that comes the new budget plans for next season. According the Buster Olney and ESPN, the Yankees are estimated to reduce their budget from $208 million last season to $185 million next season. Most likely in order to sign a big free agent like John Lackey, they are going to have to let go one of their own free agents, aka Johnny Damon or World Series MVP, Matsui. The Yankees have learned that pitching is the most important part of winning a Championship, so Brain Cashman will probably want to resign Andy Pettitte. If the Yankees think top prospect Austin Jackson is ready for Major League play, the Yankees would be able to let Damon and Matsui sign with another team and use that extra money to sign free agent John Lackey. The Yankees have many options this off season, and I am very curious to see how they handle this new budget plan This article is also featured on NY Sports Talk.
